On 23rd March 2026, the new Branch of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank at Kuppili (1355) of Etcherla mandal , in Srikakulam District was inaugurated by Sri D. Venkata Ramana, General Manager, Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, in the presence of Sri L.Anantha Rao, Regional Manager, Srikakulam Region.
On 10 March 2026, the new Branch of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank at Bhavanipuram, Vijayawada, in NTR District was inaugurated by Sri K. Pramod Kumar Reddy, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, in the presence of Sri G. V. Prasad, Regional Manager, Vijayawada Region.
A customer of the Edlapalli Branch of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, Sri P. Kameswara Rao, had taken a life insurance policy from IndiaFirst Life Insurance in December 2022. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly. On 26 February 2026, the insurance claim amount of ₹1 crore was handed over to his wife, Smt. P. Shiva, by the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, Sri K. Pramod Kumar Reddy. The event was attended by the Bank's General Managers Sri Rajasekharam, Sri Janardhan Rao, Sri Raghunath Reddy, and IndiaFirst Life Insurance RBH Sri Madan. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman stated that IndiaFirst Life Insurance offers affordable insurance schemes accessible to all sections of society. He emphasized that such insurance policies play a vital role in providing financial security to families during unforeseen circumstances.
